Hi

As anyone on here got a scan of Richard " Popcorn " Wylie's signature or knows of any website were it would show it.

Only I've dug out an original issue of Rosemary on Karen and it's got a signature on it so wanted to confirm if it's genuine or not before I sell it.

** Been confirmed now as a genuine signature - the record is only VG to VG+ condition but plays through without any skips etc.

Would anyone know what sort of price this would fetch.

Regards - Ray

There are quite a few copies of the orange label press of Cool Off around with his signature on

I must have had at least 3 in the past - unless it was the same one that kept coming back to me

Cheers Bud - That signature is slightly different as the one I've got it signed Richard Popcorn Wylie !

If the style is the same , then the records could have been signed years apart , my signature changes daily !

Looks genuine to me a few little differences but everybody's signature changes , and why would someone forge a signature of Wylie it hardly adds to the value, and for some people it detracts.

I have one from the Manchester International show, it is exactly the same....100% OK

Cheers for that much appreciated !

Would you have any idea as to it's value - the record is between VG & VG+ plays through without any skips etc.

Cheers Ricky  -  Mines not a VG++ it's VG, So reckon £80 might be a fair price, don't think the genuine Popcorn Wylie signature will put any value to it !

Not that rare as he came over here several times in the 80s and I remember loads of people queuing up and getting things signed by him, myself included.

Tim Brown once listed a "rare, unsigned, copy" of Rosemary, I guess making the point that he'd autographed a lot of records

Lol! Quite.
