Brice Coefield - Ain’t that right - Omen 10 Ex+ £350 ON HOLD

(Old school Northern and Mecca favourite.  Brice’s long career straddled numerous groups from 55 to the late 60’s, but he only enjoyed 2 solo outings, this being the one that matters, etching himself in the annals of our scene’s history.  Not surprising when you learn this bold and full of brass mid-tempo dancer was influenced by the pen of Gary and Chester Pipkin and the arranging skills of one world class HB Barnum.  Superb and on a great big green stock copy too.  The scanner exposes slight grubbiness to the label, but in the hand its a vibrant green and hard to detect any blemishes)
