As blue eyed soul goes...Mod Legend RIP 

Heard this was played at the torch, probably golden torch days rather than the nighters. Musical firestorm anyhow. Sad loss.

Man he's as good as booker t on this. 

From a Mod point of view his passing is very sad, his band were instrumental from the early 60s helping Mod RnB out of the clubs into the mainstream, keep on running, somebody help me (both Jackie Edwards penned) getting the message out to the world, really sad to hear of his passing. 

Very sad news. Had the pleasure of seeing him and his group perform at The Royal Festival Hall in 2004 ( The Yardbirds we’re also on the bill ) and had a really great night. R.I.P.
