Just read an article in the diary pages of our local newspaper that reviewed a book called Sex, Drugs & Northern Soul that was written by Jason Tune from my home town of Rotherham.

Strange thing is he only lives about 1/2 a mile away from me on Church Street in Kimberworth & even went to the same school as both my kids but i don't know him or anybody that has ever heard of him.

Any info on him would be most welcome as it all seems a bit of a mystery to me.

I've heard of Northern Soul but not heard/participated of sex and drugs being an integral part of northern soul.... *shrug*.

Obviously never had a fight with Chalky(windmills old bouncer)or kev green,or phil evans(clifton hall old bumper),and know another half dozen old rov`remers that would give him a run for his money.he sound a right knob.i wont be buying his pakc of lie`s.

Its from a younger lads perspective he sounds about my age as the rude boy thing was rife then around the lads of a certain age, as the for the northern soul well you will have to read the book

Fukc have read some of it,the grapes been there loads infact i`m sure its still there?,and wasnt there duncan from massborough right on the top of a hill,used to do clifton hall,could be dunc.......... might not be a knob,but then again he probberly signs on here.
