matrix reads A-72869-13 with a scratched virtue directly opposite.
The original is thick heavy vinyl with a noticeable dip a centimetre (give or take a mm or two) from edge of centre hole.

2nd press (legit?)....
matrix reads A 7Z869 - B points to note in the matrix are the 7 resembles a reversed F and the 2 resembles a Z

Be careful with that, as the pictures are not correct the boot shows original and vise and versa. The best way to check is: on the original the writing on the left hand side is lower than on the right. on the boot they are level. I mentioned it to John not sure if later editions have been corrected
