***Killer Alert*** This would have been massive at any time in the northern scene’s past and almost definitely will be in its future. Storming, uptempo garage soul at it’s very best! Still seems under the radar but is picking up plays via Brian Maguire and Sean Pumfrett in the U.K. as well other more enlightened DJs in Europe. Flip is fantastic too. Hard to find and going to be a monster of a tune. Don’t sleep.

Riddles - It’s One Thing To Say (Mercury) Mint- (company sleeve) £60

One of THE hottest garage 45s in the U.K. at the moment. Have had six copies and they flew out, with plenty of disappointed enquiries thereafter (last two went via private sales to people who asked me to keep them informed). Gets former big name DJs up to the decks when it’s played too. On the way up and copies have dried up!

Dee Wonder and The Rhythm Fame - What You’ve Done (Go Go G.T.O.) strong Vg £50

The rarer of the two releases of this (the other being on Ware) and have heard mention it’s a different take (although I couldn’t tell any difference). Rumoured to have been played at Stafford and whilst it was known back then I don’t think it ever got played. Right for now? You bet it is! Killer garage soul/R&B that will surprise many and will be known by very, very few. YouTube for reference only, clip from actual 45 on request.

Haunted – Come On Home (Trans World) strong Vg £50

Killer garage soul/R&B version of Jackie Edward’s ‘Come On Home’. Canadian only 45 that recently went for £125 on Discogs and believe you me it ain’t common! One I shared to the Groovy Garage group recently that’s proved pretty popular, sounds bang on for now. A fair few light marks but plays Vg+ (sound clip available on request).
