I saw him when he toured the UK in 1967 ... then again around 25 or so years ago when he played a 'Blues & Booze' festival in Wallingford, Oxon. Chatted to him the 2nd time; he was bitter about his time with Botanic & Red Sands (no payment of royalties, etc.).

He was one of the best live acts I ever saw, absolutely fantastic!

hi andy, remember you playing its a heartache at the wilton back in the early 200's first time i'd heard it played out since the stafford days, sounded awesome, one of my favourite tunes
