I have to say upon opening the mailer it looked pretty impressive but once opened you realise the hard work, research and love of the music that has gone into this book.  Fabulously written and laid out this is a necessary addition to every soul music lovers bookshelf.

Absolutely top drawer book, this is a must buy for anyone remotely interested in soul music and especially from Philly.

I expected it to be good having subscribed to the magazine and knowing the time and effort that was put into it but this surpasses all expectations I had. Dave and Jason should feel very proud with what they have achieved in getting this labour of love published.

My order arrived today.  It is a huge, definitive, enjoyable book that will take a life to absorb fully.

Arrived late on this one , but just had my copy delivered and at a great price of £39 with free postage .. have just ordered two more for friends .. what a great read !!

Dave and Jason have really hit the nail on the head with this one .. fantastic book guys , you should be really proud . !  

The book will be a lifetime of reading and re-reading, which is a great thing.
