Sorry ,the idea is to get some events going in my area of tameside on a regular basis

Just to add to my post ,we do travel to events ,but it would be nice to have a regular event closer

one of the best in the Country is just up the road from Stalybridge, Ashton Ukranian ( more guide bridge than Ashton) If you haven't been i suggest you do, it's every month and been running for 7/8 years now.

Good luck Jim, there is absolutely nothing of any quality* within 30 miles of us in the west country (except our own events naturally) and we regularly travel 2 hours each way every weekend as a result.

*To be scrupulously fair there are some Micky mouse bootleg and top 100 do's locally, but each to their own & all that.

I'd think I'd died and gone to heaven to live your way as Ashton Ukrainian is nirvana in our opinion, sadly it's a 7 hour round trip, so we tend to only make it once or twice a year max.

When we're 'up north' we make a beeline to Rochdale 45revolutions, Ashton, East Lancs & Blackburn oldies, those really have to be some of the very best in the country IMHO.

Hi ,we go to another ukrainian club in stockport ,it's about 15 miles away ,and blackpool tower event and blackpool winter gardens new years eve ,and also buxton pavillion ,but they are longish journeys of about 110 mile round trip

Hi Jim our next event is Saturday August 16th at Ashton Ukrainian Club.

staleyvagas used to have events glossop etc regular but due to bad attendances ,nearest regular are places like stockport at least 6 monthly ,(failsworth our own gig that one) further afield sale at least 4 per month if you know of a venue please enlighten me by direct message and you never know could sort something out regards steve

George lawton hall Mossley has events ,that being said ,we bought tickets and now they have cancelled

Stalybridge to Rochdale =12 miles, so might as well ad a shameless plug for our Anniversary tomorrow.

I guess the nearest soul night to us would be a 5 or 6 hour flight

No tickets have all been refunded i deejayed at the last one out of the promoters hands as to why cancelled
