Your "crossover" Recommendations

thanks to sean i've now got my head around the "crossover" period, and i'm going to try and get up to bentnik to listen to their "crossover" evening.

but, can anybody recommend some albums or cds i should look out for to help appriciate this style better in the comfort of home LOL

"Crossover Soul" on Goldmine is a good place to start, usually a few on ebay/gemm about a fiver,

Some great cds in my place from Jonh/Ali nightingale,crossover heaven indeed..I am sure some on here can pass them on to you,i can't copy cds at the moment....Maybe John/Ali will see this thread..Quality indeed :thumbsup:

just won this on ebay, should satisfy your needs and pocket -

four tops - are you man enough - dunhill

is it 70,s or x-over( listed as seventies cross over), were do we draw the line

either way very very good, better than most big ticket 45,s

One of the most imaginative 'Crossover' CD compilations has to be the ACE / Kent
