I have no idea, I've never heard the Wigan's Chosen Few version.

This might be the original US Roulette version by The Chosen Few.

Can someone stick up some audio of both the released version of Wigan's Chosen Few and the original US Roulette version.

I'll stick up some audio of my acetate tomorrow or so as I'm headin out the door right now.

Wanna sell it/swap it.

i have a copy of this too up until the last second it was going to be by the chosen few,my copy has the sleeve similar to the one they used except it just says chosen few then when it was released they added the wigan in red on the left, a third press of the cover evens the wigans chosen few out in an arc over the top.

This sounds like the soussan version as the car horns are different and the crowd noises from the 1965 cup final aren't in the background [ you can clearly hear the crowd singing " wednesday , wednesday " on the Pye released version .Interesting item ..... Best ,Eddie

Probably while they were trying to recreate this version, not the Version PYE Released, and NOT the one played at Wigan, a sort of test piece from PYE.

I have the ROULETTE Version Somewhere, I'll try and find it for a Sound Clip.

The Version before PYE tried, It was taped live at Wigan, The Atmosphere was awesome.

Never heard that one before. Has anyone got an MP3 of the "original" soussan doctored version, with the Little Bit hurt intro?. It is still a great mindless instrumental!
