What a record - going to list this today or tomorrow but just wanted an excuse to put a sound file up really...I mean, what a fantastic track this is, the sort of thing you hope nobody buys this week so you can hang onto it for another week! I like Roomfull Of Tears as well but this is better in my opinion.

Fantastic record with a great deep flip ' Broken hearted mans prayer'. Swapped mine for 'Baby take me back' on modern around the Stafford era.

What an incredible voice JG has. I've still yet to hear a track by him that isnt in the very top drawer!

Funny I just got one this week after been after it for almost 20 years, its only VG and has a few crackles on both sides but given the very cheap price it was well worth it, Have played it about 100 times already.

As Pete says i think this is a pretty rare record, maybe too good for todays market???

So would I be going over the top asking 200 for that in mint or near mint, it books at 150 but the last time I remember seeing one for sale, I was selling it, and that was years ago!

This is a great record and the first thing i'm going do when i get home from work today is dig this out to play the flip. Can't believe I have never listened to it.

Got to be a 3 figure price on something like this. Does seem pretty rare.

He did one on ICA which is okay and was he not JG Lewis on IX Chains also with 2 great records.

Yeah its the Maxx Kidd one Jocko , Adam played it a fair bit at niters .. oohh and a little birdie just told me that Soul Sam reviewed it in Steve G's Blackbeat after Adam played it
