October 21, 200717 yr Author We had a great time apart from making me miss the rugby. The musical highlights were The Flirts singing Nothing But A Heartache over the end of the record, Mary's story about her demo with Sam Cooke and Maxine's about Oh No Not My Baby, you could picture her sitting on some Harlem brownstone front steps, with the kids skipping on the pavement. My personal lowlight was when I was sitting in the well lit studio in front of the three great soul acts and I looked down to see i was wearing one dark brown rounded toe shoe and one light brown chisel toed shoe, I've not done that since I was five! Thank God I saw it first and announced it, if someone else had mentioned it I'd have turned purple with embarrassment. As it was I just went vermilion.
