I don't know, but it's one of the best ever Motown releases in my opinion. Stomping tune!

i bid on this early on couldnt believe it went for that ,regret not buying it at wigan all those years ago. one of the best motown tunes imo

Pep was playing this at his oldies sessions several years ago (alongside Ike & Tina's "Dust My Broom" etc.). Maybe there was a general revival on it around that time?

Cracking tune and deffo falls in the category worthy of reactivation.

Certainly is pure class, although i prefer This Old Heart Of Mine. I saw it sell for at least £30 a few months ago, so this is in line with that price. Around 79/80 Behind a Painted Smile was very popular.

absolutly storming record, i was lucky enough to buy them both back then and keep them both great tunes

this must have been played every week some where in the Uk at a soul do for the last 30 years, and why not. "tell me its just a rumour " has been as well
