Without looking up the details I'm sure he said "last copy" " definitley no more" "honest guv" etc or words similar

Perhaps Lester's "niece" has turned up a few copies from her aunts

The end of the "rare soul" scene?

Carry on turning up at this rate it'll soon be rarer on Grapevine

It's like I said back on 2nd Oct, you can see the problem that Brad has, he's governed by what the person tells him that is releasing the records to him. He can only relay what he is told.

Bet he has to dash to the toilet every time that person walks through the shop door with a little card envelope in their hand. Perhaps he should ban them from the shop on medical grounds, can't be doing him any good laugh.gif ......apart from financially of course

thats three copies now from the same family who had other two all decent nick......worried about people not believing him???? Don't think he'll have to worry anymore ph34r.gif If I had a pile of records and two have just sold for something like $15000 I think I'd look down the pile or go through the boxes a bit quicker

I don't know the seller but my close friend Joerg Brenner knows him pretty well and says he's 100% honest so I'd have no reason to doubt his story about Lester Tipton.

If any of you guys are coming to the 2009 Bamberg Weekender you can ask Brad (AKA burl*one) personally

i can vouch for the truth of this story. i was in brad's shop while he was on tour with his band, and the first thing the guy who was running things for him said to me when i walked in was "you won't believe what came in the door the day brad left town"....
