as said, this event is all era's of Soul - and when we say modern - we really do mean modern (as in stuff that's come out within last 5 years etc ie: Neo Soul), on the night it will be a case of working with the crowd who is there - what ever the majority who turn up are feeling is where we aim to keep on with .

if you like Marvin Gaye & Stevie Wonder - our USA surprise act touches on these influences too.

def not for purists - but surely is for SOUL lovers

with all that in mind - it will be a good night,

just read your post in the other thread - as said, should be all good, come earlier, catch the live act, then you can check the other night if you wish & if need be you can come back again if it doesnt work out at the other do, as both are in central locations, with Hobboblin being close to Angel tube (tubes running late on NYE i think but cant speak for london underground

Music aside - Hobgoblin is a very friendly place and cant be beaten for vibes + normal pub drinks prices all night.

Sounds great!! Crystal Tipps & I like a wide range of soul music, so will definately pop in for a couple of scoops. We're staying near Liverpool Street station, so not far from us.
