Lfcjunkie Posted March 6, 2009 Share Posted March 6, 2009 (edited) Next soul night March 28th @the Hide Bar,High st,Skipton ,N Yorkshire Djs-John Britton(wakefield city soul crew+Wilton all-niter) Chappie (wakefield) Dave(longy) playing quality soul,you wanna hear George Jackson,Carl Sims (wet paint)Brothers Unlimited,Justice Dept,Joanne Garrett (lp)Dysons Faces,Shirley Brown,Terry Roland,G C Cameron,Lee Fields,Dee Dee Warwick,Jesse Graham,Al Christian(chant),Anthony White ,Impressions,....crossover,70s,80s,90s...album tracks etc...and a drop of the deep stuff....... 8pm til late bar til midnight £5 adm incl food last one one was a cracker, open minded venue with open minded punters , friendly staff ,the manager is right behind us on this venue, he insists on supplying food (didnt get any complaints last time)and has made donation to local charity...good parking on high st ,anyone wanting to stay over night get in touch ,the manager has said he may be able to arrange a discount at a local b&b,nice tourist town as well... all the best dave info:01535 630945 *late announcement* Garry Cape is doing a guest spot tomorrow night 28th march here at the Hide Bar,Skipton(you wanna hear the unissued Bobby Sheen tracks to be released on Garrys Soul Scape label)so do we!Garry will be giving this and other future releases a whirl among many other class tunes .......be there.....
