I feel i need to say sorry to DJ,s. Soulville Andy, Kev Spittle, Sid Jones. And a few

close friends who know who they are, regarding the totally unacceptable behaviour

of a so called fellow promoter, i use the name fellow promoter very loosely. I have offered my resignation to the other people involved because of what happened. Ive been going niters n soul nites for over 30 years hopefully gaining a bit of respect along the way. I cant allow myself to be part of something that showed probably the worst disrespect that i think i,ve ever seen. Once again apoligies to the above mentioned.

Thanks for apology steve,but there is no need to beat yourself up about this,the guy involved is obviously a prick and the term promoter cant be applied to him,he and his box of cd,s can take a run and jump as far as i am concerned.The pity is the place had the makeings of a good nite,till dickhead decided to take to the decks in a drunken stupor,never mind another one bites the dust but no blame can be attached to you m8.

If this is any consolation to you mate I had the same trouble at the beginning of the 90s where exactly the same thing happened, cracking venue, big turnout and one stupid drunken so called mate effing and blinding over the mic saying I was a fanny for not using cd's ect, at the end of the night he was out of it so in the morning I went round to his house gave him his cut and told him to f*** off, you have my 100% support on this even though I don't know you personaly

Theres nothing to tell really,a very drunken wannabe dj promoter with a large box of cds decided that he would take over the djing mantle.Problem was dj spots had already been allocated to the guest djs,who i might add were there free of charge

trying to get the first nite off to a good start.This as you can imagine caused a little friction,thats it.
