Picked up the Moment of Truths solo album on salsoul yesterday for a couple of quid, had only heard " So Much For Love " played out at a few do's here and there , but basically bought the album blind .Apparently it was their only album before splitting up .

It's a cracker with some quality 70's soul tracks on it , highly recommended people , just buy it !!

"Helplessly" was played - on Roulette initially, before the remix on the Salsoul 12".

I love the album, "At long last" is one of my favourites, I would certainly play that one out! I was amazed we didn't hear more of "So much for love" back inthe 70's.

Thanks for that John, my memory is getting so defective! I was sure I had a Roulette copy of a tune called "Your love"! Now, finding it, that's going to be another matter!

You're right. I only "re-discovered" it myself when I flipped over the 12" a few years ago when I was looking for stuff to put on tape for a friend!

re. your love, i used to have a copy with the instrumental on the other side, had loads of copies since with long and short vocal versions, but no copies of the insrumental, had demos and issues

Will have to dig this out,. FOund it for 50p in Harlequin Liverpool St in about 1981....it's been in the lock up ever since. Didn't they also have an album on Roulette>???

Totally agree - what a great album - So Much For Love a great soulful disco 12 to boot!

They also had 3 tracks on the Nocturna soundtrack - Whacha Gonna Do, Love at First Sight, I'm Hopelessly In Love With You - all well worth a listen.
