Va Va's
Remember one night(may have been 2nd or 3rd nighter--when thee was a massive queue outside waiting to get in. The DS turned up with sniffer dogs and very slowly and painfully when down the line and if the dogs even blinked they would pull that person out My mate pecker (now in Oz)who come with us had a load of gear on him and went back fives paces in the queue and stuffed them down his sock then the 'horrors' kicked in and he went five more spaces back and shoved em round his b*llox . Eventually ended up hiding in the van and then fcuked off back about 2.00 and left us there As was mentioned before, great late hose st sounds and sounds that were to be staple when Wigan first opened. Did I dream this-but did it have a bloody massive car park??

Hiya folks-reviving this thread again from a few years back. Have checked as much as I can--- Manships Guide etc and tried to check on Soulville matrix numbers but to no avail Its says dj copy not for sale, white label ,same flip, and 101-A on one side and 101-B on t'other. it has in brackets (S-3661) written underneath. I am aware of different variations of label design for differing reasons etc --but was this one example or is it 100% a boot. Any help greatly appreciated as always

Collecting British...why Bother?
Fantastic scans lads ,well done ---great to see both Levi and Soloman--Beautiful Day. Its been far too long since I've seen those It was always great to see the year written on the British labels. It must be and age thing cos we used to talk about year of release when comparing British stuff Now in keeping with the 'Beautiful' theme, wouldn't it be great if some kind soul could post a label scan of Jimmy Thomas Beautiful Night on Parlophone...

genuine soul@ the cygnet. new soul night in cheshire>
ahem .2010 Looking forward to a great 'first night' here at this crackin little venue...a little 'gem' of a club. Its almost perfectly made for a soul night,..very self contained and bang in the town centre. A couple of great buzzing hostelries either side for those that want a pre event drink Easy parking near the rear of the venue......and for those future summer soul nights--check out the roof terrace

Lee Andrews
..Wondered if anyone could help me on this. Was the Lee Andrews released on another label apart from Lost Nite. Reason I ask is, I seem to remember this label predominately used for re-issues/second issues and just thought this may have been an example of this. Any help much appreciated as always cheers Jez
