Masterplan - Clinton Park On Fos Glo
Lovely tune, whatever label. Are you sure about the Delite being the 1st press? Fos-Glo is always a lot dearer.

George Smallwood
Having said that, and I'm not defending the Jeffries because everyone knows their prices are usually comedy/fantasy, but I would have thought £500 for a minter seems about right to me, unless a load were found or something. It used to be extremely rare and was over £800 if you could ever find a copy.

Bob Abrahamian R.i.p
Unbelievable.... Thank you Bob for putting me onto so many tunes that I would never hear over here in the UK through your radio shows and your personal tips. For helping put the 'Soul' in Soul source and for having the good humour and wit to spar and banter with the entrenched viewpoints of people on a scene that must have seemed bizarre to say the least. You added so much to my musical knowledge and you helped open the world of soul music up for me and others who were just dipping their toes into the slow sweet harmony soul that you loved so much. Your posts on here were always priority 'go to' posts to read and i will miss your vast contribution to the sanity and soulfulness of this site. I wish I'd met you in person. RIP Bob. Jordi

No you don't! I got my ticket price and postage refunded but not the booking fee.

Leroy Hutson Live At The Ritz, Manchester - 29.05.14
Aparently it was due to lack ticket sales!! Can you believe it?! I would have thought tons of people would want to see Leroy with a full band playing all the 70's Curtom classic tunes. May be it wasn't marketed or advertised very well, I certainly didn't know about it until my brother mentioned it to me. I bet the London gig will be well attended, plenty of soul and rare groove boys into Leroy back in the day.

Otto & The Sensations, Lanny Hunt, Bo. Jr Etc
Otto and Sensations flipside is just sublime, the sweetest group harmony side you'll hear in a long time.

Djing
I really don't know what point you're trying hard to make here Rob. I don't think anyone has tried to make out that NS has contributed anything to the technical development of DJing. Northern soul DJ's are quite happy playing records to people who enjoy listening and dancing to them, some do it slicker than others, some are more entertaining in their delivery, but that is all that is required apart from having a good ear and playing great records in a good order. Anything else is totally superfluous. Why are you banging this drum?
