  1. Erm... Mark Speakman's got one. He has told us enough times And he really does have one!
  2. It is a good record, not brilliant by any means. But slag it off? No Pete.
  3. The sad thing is it probably would. The only time I have seen any real dance floor action to it is when Butch plays it
  4. What a fantastic tune this is GEORGE HUGHLEY - THATS WHY I CRY -
  5. They could do. Who knows. Just a shame a lot of 'big name' DJ's do not go and listen to what is being played in these smaller rooms.
  6. Nothing beats than the feeling you get when you finally secure a big want. Dead chuffed for you Andy. Whoo hoo
  7. I bet a Mac Staten would brighten your mood
  8. Absolutely. And never lose your passion!
  9. Me neither and I am even more confused after reading this thread! Ernie Johnson? William Cummings? Never in a million years would I have considered these to be crossover. Just shows how much I know eh
  10. Overplayed and everyone's got one
  11. Sounds a bit country and western to me.

    You are joking?
  13. All the threads on here about it!
  14. PHILHARMONICS - I NEED I NEED YOUR LOVE - SOULIN -
  15. Every time I listen to the Philharmonics - I Need I need Your Love I am always bowled over by how long he holds that note for at the end. 18 seconds ffs! Anyone know of a singer that holds a note for longer?
  16. Ha ha... sticky lip thing! Did Tony's hands make it on there?
  17. I agree it is a very moving song. Apparantly it is about a young boy who had to wear leg braces and his brothers and friends used to take him to school on their backs. When asked if he was heavy... they replied he ain't heavy...
  18. One that always makes me a little emotional when ever and where ever I hear it is Little Samson - Don't Take Your Love - El D. I am reaching for the tissues just typing it
  19. James T says you prefer Reliant Robins Paul
  20. The days of umpteen amounts of totally unknown records have long gone. The records that some people have such an aversion to are not new records at all but more often than not records that have been played for a long time. I wonder how many people who went to the first nights at Wigan Casino would still have been as enthusiastic if the DJ's had not introduced new records? My guess would be none!
  21. I have not slagged you off once and yet here you are slagging me off? Nice.
  22. Not being funny but here you go again. With one breath you say why do all the records have to be rare or expensive and here you are bragging that you have had them all. Make your mind up
  23. The song. I couldn't give a back drop how many people dance to a record. If I think a record is pants it is pants, and no amount of people dancing to it will change my mind.
  24. Daz.. people used to say exactly same things about Stafford as you are saying about the rare room at Stoke.
