Mark Bicknells's 'put Prices On Wants Please' Thread
Why start a thread and then close it?

Lee Williams & The Cymbals+The Metrics
I know Mark Bicknell had a Metrics. He may have already sold it or I am sure he would have posted by now. Worth giving him a go!

The Cod's
The other side of 'Pretty Baby' is 'I'm A Good Guy'. Boba made a mistake. Reading posts properly is obviously not your strong point
-
The Cod's
Errrm... not sure what you mean John but I think 'I'm A good Guy' is a great tune.

The Cod's
The other side, I'm A Good Guy is great too

Magicians - Love , Lets Try It Again - Villa
Say offers not auction then!

Magicians - Love , Lets Try It Again - Villa
If I had bid for a record and the auction was closed early without warning I would have been a bit pissed. Who wouldn't? I would not have done what you did though. Like I said, I would have sold my copy and let the other run. And anyway, I already have the 45 mate, not that it makes the least bit of difference. You can do what you want, like you say it is your tune. That said, it might be nice to let people know what your rules are and that they are likely to change at whim.

Magicians - Love , Lets Try It Again - Villa
Sorry but I don't agree. If I had two copies of a record that I had put up for auction on here, I would have sold my copy and left the other one to run. You and I obviously have very different ideas as to what an auction is. And anyway who is to say you won't do the same again if you get a very decent offer and they happen to have a record that you want? Nothing wrong with it I suppose but maybe you should make it clear that your auctions are different to everyone else's. Good luck to you.

Magicians - Love , Lets Try It Again - Villa
Not being funny but auction? I would hardly say it was an auction. You said you would be accepting offers until Monday and yet you sold the record with days left to go.

Lost Mobile Phone Is Found In A Mates Bag
A good friend of mine lost his mobile phone at Radcliffe last night. But it turned up in another friends bag because his wife, Mrs. Eileen Taylor, put it there. Honestly . . . . .

Dj Bookings Needed Urgently
Thank God for insurance. You are insured aren't you Mark? With the police saying the chances are the van won't be recovered you should get paid out pretty quickly.

Comment: CHALKY
It could be that Carl has the record and wasn't aware it had been posted on here. Then again I could be totally wrong

The Internet, Social Networking Sites And The Northern Soul Scene
I for one would be too busy dancing and having a good time to have it at a venue
-
The Internet, Social Networking Sites And The Northern Soul Scene
For me the internet side of the scene has nothing to do with the going out side. One is 'virtual' and the other is 'actual'. As for decreasing attendance? Yes there may be far too many venues on, but that is not helped by the fact that some promoters have two, three, four different allnighters/venues going at the same time.

Didn't Julie want one of these Melv?

A "lost" Soul Artist "found"

Good Tunes That Are Still Cheap To Buy
You know I'm only kidding Stevo. Even at a £100 you have to admit you get five belting records. Every one a winner and good enough to grace any playlist

Where Are They?
John was at Radcliffe two weeks ago.
