  1. I reckon Paul is just dropping hints as his birthday is coming up
  2. Thinking about it, I remember DJ'ing at a soul night at Dancers a good few years ago.
  3. It gets worse Sharon has been dancing since she was 8 years old, her dancing began in Preston, Lancashire at a dance studio called 'Dancers' - her teacher was Nick Attack, a fantastic dancer and a truly nurturing teacher.
  4. How about we all chip in and get her to come to a venue?
  5. How about reserving judgement until you see it? You never know it could be great
  6. Northern Soul is a Sharon Finch dvd....
  7. If it is any consolation Ian, I rate it at around £100. I paid £50 for mine and it really isn't a rare record. I don't think so anyway. Always makes me smile when I hear it.
  8. Ha ha... I started a similar thread when I saw he had locked his thread. Personally I can't stand it when people say "how much are you willing to pay". Just say what you want for it and then the potential buyer can either say yes or no.
  9. Why start a thread and then close it?
  10. I know Mark Bicknell had a Metrics. He may have already sold it or I am sure he would have posted by now. Worth giving him a go!
  11. The other side of 'Pretty Baby' is 'I'm A Good Guy'. Boba made a mistake. Reading posts properly is obviously not your strong point
  12. Errrm... not sure what you mean John but I think 'I'm A good Guy' is a great tune.
  13. The other side, I'm A Good Guy is great too
  14. If I had bid for a record and the auction was closed early without warning I would have been a bit pissed. Who wouldn't? I would not have done what you did though. Like I said, I would have sold my copy and let the other run. And anyway, I already have the 45 mate, not that it makes the least bit of difference. You can do what you want, like you say it is your tune. That said, it might be nice to let people know what your rules are and that they are likely to change at whim.
  15. Sorry but I don't agree. If I had two copies of a record that I had put up for auction on here, I would have sold my copy and left the other one to run. You and I obviously have very different ideas as to what an auction is. And anyway who is to say you won't do the same again if you get a very decent offer and they happen to have a record that you want? Nothing wrong with it I suppose but maybe you should make it clear that your auctions are different to everyone else's. Good luck to you.
  16. Not being funny but auction? I would hardly say it was an auction. You said you would be accepting offers until Monday and yet you sold the record with days left to go.
  17. I have always thought this too Kev. If it isn't, then I would love to know who it is. Anyone?
  18. I would say about £20.
  19. Doesn't sound anything like the snake to these ears.
  20. Just had a text from Chas saying he is going to get himself a man bag
  21. A good friend of mine lost his mobile phone at Radcliffe last night. But it turned up in another friends bag because his wife, Mrs. Eileen Taylor, put it there. Honestly . . . . .
