  4. gotta disagree with that Col...havent heard it out for 10 years...not saying i want ot hear it again for a while but certainly not an overplayed oldie
  5. Got a lovely white demo of this Ian...let me know when your pockets recovered from Christmas ;-)
  6. we cant take all the glory...well ok we can take 99% cos Tim didnt really want to play it. But 1% must go to him - and why when the first time i went up to say hello was that the first record he showed me? Unless of course he thought i would do a runner with a record..good point and good thinking on his part i spose. what was more shocking is that it seemed like it was only me who was clapping to it. is it so underplayed now that people cant remeber where to clap? and FYI i hadnt heard this out for about 10 years! A good old time record that suited the occaision
  7. TB played it - after at least 3 of us saw it in ih box :-) cant think of if played twice though. and i danced and clapped in all the right places - not many others clapped, tihnk i was a lone clapper...
  8. for £2.50 i'd have gone and picked it up for you Ian i'd say your right-ish on the date. my mate got one not long after it broke at wigan, he did tell me what he paid - quite a lot for a 45 in those days...shame that a few years ago he sat on it and cracked it - now it resides in a frame on his wall lol
  9. Baz, go clean ya ears out Prob the best £4 i've ever spent
  10. no, i am thinking of this one :-)
  11. 2 great sides are the Dells providing the backing singing, or am i thinking of another record?
  12. I echo what Cel said. and if it want apt. Cheers Mike :-)
  13. It is a great record!! Saw one for £1.2k, but that was a few years ago, so all things condsidering £1.7k aint bad Superb :-)
  14. yeah, but no, but yeah, but, the uptight is the original 45 release PML
  15. superb, one of the all-time great NS records IMO. quite an expensive blind buy if its the original on decca?
  16. yep - i really like this too and was sorely tempted. as Stuart says Nick's had 2 in loads of years so really quite rare
  17. Yep I played it at the 100 Club last year. Uncovered as far as i am concerned and i have played it uncovered...but damned if i can remeber who it is...something about Love, a year and melons LOL, great help eh
  18. Mandy, Ady did get a response; not too convincing one. but i think that the guy should reply to Ady off-list.
  19. That would mean them changing all their agreements cos you cant deduct money without prior permission. And would only work if the person had credit in their paypal account. Big Name DJ? He should be getting the far superior version by Chris DeBurgh
