Sensations
Seb, yep "Lonley World" - great tune, but not as good as the just as cheap "I wont be Hurt" Both still not as good as "Demanding Man" though... And I still think (to my ears) that Demanding Man was recorded neraer the time of I wont be hurt and not 4 yerars later (1970). But then I know F' All. Oh, Just reminds me Janine - Demanding Man - 1970 - surely you still dont want this bit of disco trash LOL

Out Of Favour Tunes
I played the Contemplations at the last 100. and someone played Rock Candy very lately (only knew it was RC coz i was by the decks and I was in conversation with somepone about no difference between the 2, even RC has the contemplation label number in the run-out. I can remeber all that but cant remember who played it or where I was. Unless it was TOS, could have been Gene maybe. Think I'll get my coat...)

To: All You Dj's. Have You Ever
Recently I was 10 minutes into an hour spot and the sound system was so bad I really just wanted to pack the records and walk off. I didnt though and stuck it out. The last record I played was Adams Apples I annouced as "Dont take it out on the DJ". Worse DJ experience i've had.

The Sound Of The Weekend ???
ONE OF THE SOUNDS THIS WEEKEND FOR ME, AMONG A LOT OF BRILLIANT SOUNDS, WAS PLAYED BY JOHN WESTON AT THE MARRS BAR. THE GROUP HAD THE WORD 'THREE' IN IT. VERY VERY RARE JOHN TELLS ME. IF SOMEONE CAN FILL THE REST OF THE GROUP AND TITLE IT'D BE APPRECIATED. UNUSALLY FOR ME I CANT REMEMBER, AND JOHN DID TELL ME AT LEAST 3 TIMES

Chico Lamarr - Mick Smith??
Chico Lamarr - How about You / What Do you Think I am - Fuller Mick A few 100 Club's ago you played Chico Lamarr Pete H told me it was C Lamaar but couldnt remember the title excpet "bloody hard to get" typical. Which side did you play?? Pete couldnt remember the titlte. Apparantly How Bout You is the same as the Penetrations 'sweet baby' so Im guessing the other side. Just seeking confirmation. and every one else. On My Wants List Please!!

Cavaliers. Lets not forget that until recently there were only a couple of "known" copies, therefore the 3 that went on e-bay this year I thought were relativley cheap and I'm not at all surprised that this fecthed £2k on Manships auction. I personally love the record, but agree with Christian, I can't see it gaining favour with the dance floor. But lets not forget thare are far more collectors than DJ's buying these 45's and if you're a collector you wouldn't care about northern danceability, just in securing an elusive 45.
