    As it was made to measure for my 16th birthday, I sort of grew out of it I kept the badge and sewed it onto a nice black cardie. Sadly that's gone too Tony

    Crikey'you're making me feel old A Blazer was the very epitome of Suedehead Chic, and there was a badge shop inthe underground market that made bespoke badges,The Wheel one being from there I am sure. When I had my Blazer MADE, I had a badge made with my initials on it in silver thread, and very fetching it looked with my Prince of Wales strides, red socks and Timpson Royales,so there Tony

  14. I guess it would be a coupla years say '75 to '77ish. I am gettin'on now yer know( but still CONSIDERABLY younger than Brian ) Not that big a room, it had a mainstream disco upstairs and we were downstairs, decorated like a Shanghai Knocking Shop in reds and golds with Buddhas on the walls-and a very interesting seating area that was the scene of some very rude encounters (or so I'm told cough, cough ) Now you should really ask Brian Walker, What the hell was the Cheech & Chong connection????? DJ was mainly Brian Walker with Dave Allen for a bit then dave went off and Brian allowed some snotty upstart to have a go, who was that now???? oh yeah- me preferred Blue Room with Curtis -seem to remember the odd all dayer there?
