Guys , I can do one better ! I recently found a usa dealer who advertises top quality vinyl but refuses to export it and only sells to usa / canadian customers !! His opinion when e - mailed was that we had been " raping " ( his quote ) , the states of precious vinyl for years and now he had Manships guide book , the records were staying in their country of birth ! Only in america !!!!!!

Picked up the Moment of Truths solo album on salsoul yesterday for a couple of quid, had only heard " So Much For Love " played out at a few do's here and there , but basically bought the album blind .Apparently it was their only album before splitting up . It's a cracker with some quality 70's soul tracks on it , highly recommended people , just buy it !! Is anybody playing any of their other stuff in their sets ,

Picked up the " Blue Autumn " album today , £2.00 , charity shop , Us press , bargain , BUT , Although I got a bargain I'm more interested in the albums history , the original people who bought it / put it there , why get rid of it , etc ... Yes I know it's weird but I'm not the only one !!

In a galaxy far far away , ( early 60's ) ,young men danced and flocked to certain record dealers all over the uk , if they were on an away day with the footie , trying to find an elusive record shop / stall in some backstreet market whilst they're mates gave them " 10 mins " as the beers flowed before the game THEN they were on holiday again , Devon / Cornwall trying to find them in far flung reaches of this kingdom !!! I want to be helpful , but for god's sake GOOGLE what ya got !!!! You will find a wealth of information on the catalogue , dancers , rareities , etc..... Is It Me !!!! ? ps . Hats off to you mate for a good honest thread , My gran was a massive Sinatra fan , when I was growing up , early 70's , Tenderness was her favourite track , I always loved the lyrics but always thought it needed more oomph !!! Just going through my album collection tonight and played this as I heard it at a soul night at the weekend , had'nt played the track in donkeys but forgot how good it was , now listening to Eddy Edmondson's radio show and it gets played ! Who else is playing this out at the moment and is it getting reactivated ?
