  1. Yes it's the other side of 'I like that girl' on DC. Thinking of selling it, any idea of current value?

Does anyone know the year BUSS was made? John Edwards was 1972 credited as wrote by Floyd Smith only James Phelps was 1971 credited as wrote by Floyd Smith, D. Chapman & Richard Tufo Nate Evans with BUSS credited as wrote by Graham, Richard Tufo & Walker Nate Evans with MEAN GREEN credited as wrote by Crenshaw, Floyd Smith & Richard Tufo Music publishers on the 45s are different also, but I won't bvore yuo with that. Very confusing! Satin ?? not got acopy as present.

I meant those who were credited as writting the song

The two issues (the vinyl) are exactly the same. The only difference in the labels are BUSS v MEAN GREEN and different writting credits for TLOYF. Probably BUSS issue is mis-credited and hence it's withdrawal and re-issue? I dig the records out and scan them later. What are the writting credits for TLOYF on the other versions?
  8. So when the morning dawn I’ll sing you a new song About what’s right Not what the war has done

Originally issued on Turbo, but re-issued on P-Vine (Japan) in 1990. Comes up on ebay from time to time about £30 - £40? The Turbo isssue is quite rare and I would have thought at least £100 now, but the quality of the recording is not that good. Best tracks are Sweet Memories (Robert Tanner) & Don't Take Your Love

GP has been 'discovered' for donkey's years, not sure exactly when it was first played (by Ian Clarke?), but I have had it on tape for 19+ years.
  12. Rare record. 2 intact, 1 crackred. Any info on EG?
  13. Granted, Ester has an inherent sound flaw, so an odd click or two won’t make much difference?

    Leave it to you Keith

    PM me your email then.
  16. I know it probably affected greatly by the rarity of the record, but is there a ‘standard’ price reduction for a recorded being cracked (e.g. automatically 50% off the current value)? Assuming it’s mended /mendable and so plays fine?
  17. Any idea of a current value for the Psyche issue?
  18. The original is on Psyche (1974), the remix is New Image featuring CR Lead Vocal, on Bionic (late 80's ?and not very good remix at that)
  19. Thanks I''l take it. I've tried to PM you.
  20. Bunny Sigler - Don't make me wait (Where's the foetus gonna gestate in a (record) box?)
  21. It worth about £10. But I'd give you £15 maybe £20 for one (Thanks for the CD's Robin)
  22. Thanks Simon. Can't you do a low bit rate version too? Might help widen the audience to people living in the sticks? PS DVD in post today incl Robin S, Graham Eliss x 2, a bloke called Murray and some tawt called T****Y! PPS That Desire track is the dogs dagglies, I'll give you a fiver for it!
  23. Simon Any chance of a repeat, but at a lower bit rate - just a series of Colin Compton covers on dial up!
  24. Interesting point, I know of a couple of collections coming up for sale very soon and I think when people see who is selling up and what they are selling, it could trigger a bit of a stock market style ‘melt down’ i.e. people trying to off load thier big ticket items before other can do, as there are only a few 'big money buyers' around in reality.
