  1. I had a copy of this up for sale a few months back at £3.99 on ebay, and had no bids on it. Still got it in a drawer somewhere.
  2. Does this mean you turn off the stuff you like? Get your own back on Jehovah's Witnesses, find out where they live and go carol singing this christmas!

Meeting people from this site for the first time ( even Soulsmith ) and knowing that whenever I go anywhere now, they'll be at least one person I can talk to.
  4. This week just a couple of cheapies, for a bargain price of just £15 including postage from USA, off Ebay , The Impressions - You Ought To Be In Heaven - ABC (think this was cheap because it had the 'b' side label on both sides ) Mary Wells - Can't You See (You're Losing Me) - Atco
  5. Any relation to Juanita (or post Op)?

I can vouch for that, because that were her exact words to me!
  7. You beat me to it Winnie, I would have said Edwin Starr as well. Although the lead singer of The 4 Vandals would be a close second.
  8. I see Pete has already beaten me to it, but I was going to say surely he was there primarily to get people dancing? We're always arguing about DJ's not entertaining punters, these arguements, sorry discussions, will go on & on & on...
  9. Absolutely shameless.
  10. What about venues that only play vinyl, whereby a DJ has paid to have a CD only track put onto vinyl (vinyl carvers) to play out, why would this be deemed acceptable? Confused of Surrey.
  11. I personally am not too bothered just thought I'd ask, I think the red one looks better . A bit like the Constellation releases some have the stars on, others don't. I haven't been to the tailors yet to be fitted with my anorak.
  12. Who is the seller?
  13. Just been browsing Pat Brady's site and he has Cody Black's Going Going Gone on a Ram-Brock red label. He states this is the first issue. Then on John Manships site it states that the blue label is the first issue. Can anyone tell which is the first release? I've got a blue label one which I bought at Solid Hit for a tenner.
  14. That's true, but they can drive a tractor.
  15. That's when they're not too busy chewing straw and crunchin' carrots.
  16. After visiting the Estate Agents, Travel Agents & Car Showrooms, I'd buy Herbert Hunter - I Was Born To Love You and Roy Hamilton's - You Shook Me Up .
  17. You'll probably find that those that went to Blackpool never said "they'd never have anything to do with KRL promotions". It is their choice to go, just as much it is others to stayaway. It's not as though we are all card carrying members of the National Soulcalist Party. Finally can I just say that I have never been to any KRL promotion, but that isn't to say I wouldn't in the future. Although from what I have read in the past and the opinion that I have formed, is that his customer relations could do with a bit of improving.
  18. Leevert Allison - I Want To Give My Heart To You - Poncello, was delivered by the postman yesterday . Managed to get to this copy before the dog did, unlike the previous one I'd bought  .

Bought this the other week for the other side, Jealous, yet another track Mr Franklin placed on a tape for me.
  20. I didn't. Finally bought my own copy after listening to it on a tape for the past year.
  21. I've got this on an LP (the one with the bad cover!), liked it the first time I heard it!
  22. Just a quick question, did anybody else record a version of that Bobby Bland track? It sounds familiar that's all.
