I was chatting to a friend on the soul scene from Europe.... He told me how they all view the scene in this country from topics like this..... Its like a bad carry on film....

I remember being told that the real darkside of the scene could not be published while so many people are still alive.. I guess thats true.. Legal implications and otherwise.. I hope Dave does put out a book on all the topics he talks about, now that would be the film to make too....

Started at niters in 81/82 with Bradford Queens hall, Morecambe Pier, Clifton Hall, Peterborough,never missed Warrington Parr Hall,Bensons in Bradford,Chesterfield,CIS and Abraham Moss in Manchester plus soul nights at Burnley,Castleford,plus Mod events in Bradford, Manchester, plus all dayers in Widnes, Runcorn, Blackpool,North Wales,all niters at every scooter rally..Just a few things going on there for me in the 80s...

Indeed.. Get a list.. I am sure many of us have spare copies to help out.. I pity the c#nts who did this, I would hunt them down....

Some folk will always think they have the right to tell others what to do and think.... Its easy.. Just do what you wanna do, plenty choice out there for everyone...
