How much did it go for?

I haven't gone down that road yet as we've got a copy but he did ask how we'd got one..... Thinking about it, I haven't seen it up for sale or in any record boxes. Dean picked his copy up from a friend who sold up in the 80's.

I was interested to know where the name Twelve 76 came from...... His reply - We could'nt think of anything else ---it actually was how much we weighed 1276 lbs (at the time there was only 7 of us) by the time we had completed putting the band together we were around 1548 lbs somewhere in that vicinity and by the time the band was done we were in weight watcher category (lol)

I have been contacted by Les Thibault from the band Twelve 76. He has given us some details of the band and a picture. Thought that it might be of interest to some on here.... He was the bass player in the band. They practiced in their basement. His father was the manager. Their ages ranged from between 16 & 18, however their singer was 28, he had just moved to the area from Cleveland Ohio. There were nine in the band. They were based in Salem, Massachusetts. They were all at High School at the time of the recording. I have a list of the band players names but will have to wait to see which one is which..... Andy Grabowski...Freddie Towles...Paul Dube...Duke Sherman...Les Thibault...Peter Goutzos...Jimmy Collins...Richie Audette...Don Dansreau...

Used to attend on the scooter rallies in the 80's. Lovely venue and floor. About the time I realised the northern on rallies was a bit restricted, I think skying in the snow and 6 x 6 was played 4 times in one night.... It's been bought privately and restored, should be due for re-opening about now..... Would be nice to see how it's turned out... anyone let us know....

I've contacted John a few days ago now and it's not like him not to answer quite quickly. I'm wondering if he has changed his e-mail addy. It's tempting to have the originals put onto acetate, like you say to preserve the originals......but isn't a DJ booked to play because of the originals he owns......thus making it a bit of a cheat not to play said originals.....

Heard something on the news yesterday about You Tube paying people who put up clips. I did think at the time, Pete will now get paid for all his time and effort...
