  1. Quite possible mate - as you say at least several Lee Rogers on Wheelsville, some Buddy Lamp on Wheelsville, a couple on Sport and several on Sir-Rah were recorded there. Anyone know about the Jimmy Gilfords please? Cheers Richard

  4. It's a great record. Never used to be keen - not 'Northern' enough - until I made myself open my mind and listen to it - what a groove Cheers Richard

  14. I've got one on this theme Jimmy McFarland - Lonely Lover (RPR) Remember this being featured in Rod Dearlove's 'Collectors Guide to Detroit' way back when Hollywood label Detroit writing and publishing credits West Coast arranging and production credits (presumably?) So is this an OK one to have in a Detroit collection or not? I'm guessing not, but would be nice to check with the Detroit Soul Police before ditching it Cheers Richard
  15. Cheers guys - now how do I find an art restorer? Cheers Richard
  16. Hi everyone Is it possible to clean a grubby soiled label? In this case I'm thinking about a well used record, stored badly that has quite bad soiling on both sides - basic dust and grime rubbed in over the years. The record is pressed on vinyl with otherwise a smooth moulded-on label. It's a 60s ARCHER pressing if that helps. Any advice would be much appreciated please - including if it is best not to try anything Cheers Richard
  17. Wondering why you have not answered your PM's. I sent you a PM about one of the above records around 8am on 11 February. It is now 14 February. Can you reply please? Richard

  21. On Ric-Tic? Think you mean Revilot mate Cheers Richard
  22. If you want to do this 'properly' you need 'Heart Trouble' on Golden World on the yellow issue and the white DJ copy. Plus, you need 'Don't Be Sore At Me' on a Revilot DJ copy (rare) as well as the issue. 'Look At What I Almost Missed' - also done by Pat Lewis on Solid Hit. Cheers Richard
  23. A New Day Begins/I'll Wait (Revilot 228). A great double-sider. Pink label. Also released on Atco. I'll Wait also done by Pat Lewis on Solid Hit. Cheers Richard
  24. Anyone got Ian's current email address - the email function on the site does not seem to work Please just PM me Cheers Richard
