Hi Paul I just put up one available in the sales and someone PM'd your ad in wants. As mentioned I got two, but my pal I was going with cannot now go, but still wants the 45. If you can do without that your welcome to it. I will be driving up from Southend around 9pm to arrive around 10pm (probably a bit after)

Magma 7" Record Bag
I started a post a while back about a fishing bag that ALDi sell that is pretty good for 45's with a little cardboard for the base and sides. Sells for about £10 and looks very similar to the ZOMO RAGGA bag (lots of pockets for peripherals). I think they are selling them at the moment. Might save you some cash.

Papa Bear & The Cubs - You're So Fine (Sms) Value Please
Looking back, the last requests for a value on this was 2005, which was £550 to £600. It seems to have sold this year on Manship in April for £1162 and Ebay in May for $1625. Does anyone know a current reasonable value for an Ex to M- copy please? Mike

Has It Been Booted/repressed?
That was what I thought, but surely to good to be true from a charity shop in Southend. Lucky bugger if so.

Has It Been Booted/repressed?
A mate called earlier today and just found one in a charity shop and picked it up as it looked interesting, not knowing what it was. Sounds to good to be true but cannot find anything on the net to say if it has been booted/repressed. Anyone help please? The few references to it on SS and Popsike suggest it is rare and desirable. My mate isn't that in to Northern so would be looking to sell , in the faint hope its original. Cheers Mike

R&b, Cd,recommendations
If you like R&B, popcorn with a smidgeon of rock 'n' roll theres a club called lady luck. I think the following link should take you to the myspace page www.myspace.com/theladyluckclub They have 5 volumes, which I generally like the bulk, although some of the out & out R&R is not for me. Volumes have included versions 'Burnt Toast & Black coffe', 'Baby please don't go', 'Dixie woman', 'It's your voodoo working'. As it happens I popped along to their stage at the Mayor's Thames Festival on the South Bank at the weekend. The club tends to get people who like to dress 40/50's style and the dancing is manly jive. btw vol 1 I enjoyed the least, but the others may be of interest if you can stand popcorn/r&r. Mike

Soft 45 Carry Bag
Thats the one. Better picture than I found. It's quite padded but as said would probably need some cardboard/thin ply or better at the sides and bottom to add some support. I just placed a few 45's in to see if suitable when I got home & check it shut etc, but didn't get a chance to go back and see how many it held. Hope you like Mike

Soft 45 Carry Bag
This may be of interest to some.... I bought a soft bag from Aldi last night that seems pretty good for 45's (with some cardboard to sturdy the bottom & sides). Similar to the Jazzman & Daptone bags, but bigger. It's from the fishing range and costs £8.99. I would say it could hold about 100 (maybe more) 45's. I tried to load a picture, but it was beyond me and when I went back to share the catologue link page the offers have changed. However, if your passing an Aldi and fairly quick (before the store offers change) it might be worth a gander. Mike

'r&b Meets Northern Soul' Vinyl Lp's
Just looking for something on Amazon for the missus birthday, & stumbled across what looks like vinyl versions of Goldmine 'R&B meets northern soul'. There is no track listing, but the artists on the cover look the same. The one they have available (vol.1) is quite expensive so wonder if they are overseas issues, as it doesn't look like a goldmine logo. I have put the link below (items 3 & 5) https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=r%26B+meets+northern+soul Can anybody confirm anything about them? Better get back to looking for a pressie that might be appreciated. Mike
