  1. A long time maybe , but the fact that they've achieved it is amazing. Look how far movies have in 50 years and all the formats. I'm sure that at the pace technology moves these days , you might be talking 5-10 years for a hi-fi disc. We've already got "Star-Trek" tablets, the replicator is on its way. Thanks for posting this very interesting development. Mick Ohh and Happy New Year!!
  2. Followed this one myself and couldn't believe it either. Nevertheless its no use going t pub with a fiver in yer pocket these days. Mick

  4. R n B style: Joe Tex Baby be Good (Dial/Atco/Atlantic) Bit of a cheapo mover, this one was released on at least four different label designs. I guess it must have been a hit:

  13. Was wondering if this has now been bootlegged. I don't recall seeing any looking like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/THE-CHOSEN-FEW-TAKING-ALL-THE-LOVE-I-CAN-BIRTH-OF-A-PLAYBOY-PROMO-Listen-/221152156983?pt=UK_Records&hash=item337db21d37
  14. i think its a super tune, sounds like a live performance. Tried to read all the thread, but didn't pick up on anything about the artist. Sorry if I missed someone mentioning the singers origin, if not I was wondering wether there's any connection possible with Blind Billy Tate, who recorded piano boogie in the early 50's with Peacock and Herald. Nice thread Mick
  15. Not that I actually have this in the box (I wish) I was wondering what folks make of it. The song and the vocal are great, but is this boss a nova beat, much to do with N.soul? Lately prices are on the up. A great tune, though no doubt:DAVID COLEMAN Drown My Heart BARRY :
  16. I think there;s a few interpretations of this, one of which is Maximillian's You'd Better on Magic Circle Think this was a Stafford play, bit rockabilly but nice all the same:
