Willie Mitchell - The Champion - Hi
Highly unlikely, ballast helds keep the ship upright, it's weight (or is it mass, forgot my GCSE Physics) is added to the lower levels of a ship to drag them down in the water. If you didn't put ballast in a ship, it would bob around too much, finding it's equalibrium (not necessarily upright). Styrene in particular would be too light, vinyl might just be heavy enough. Sand and other minerals/ores would make a much better ballast (which is more likely what was used as they would have a guaranteed resale value).

Spanky Wilson
Yes but you can only tell by the audience at the begining and the end..... sounds like a studio cut otherwise...

Rare Jamaican Canadian Soul 45s And Lp's Listen
That they might , but theres definately early Otis Redding tracks on that album... I'd bet a penny to a pinch of shit that the LP is a late 60s re-issue of his early 60s tracks I've also seen the picture of the girl from the LP somewhere else, possibly another issue of the album where he is credited.

Imperial Wonders 45 Wanted
Far too much... Definately a sub-£50 record. Got mine two/three years ago for around £25 of trades.

Rare Jamaican Canadian Soul 45s And Lp's Listen
Bottom LP features tracks by Otis Redding prior to his Volt label releases. Also tracks by Little Joe Curtis. Would presume its a cash-in record released shortly after his death

Bedroom/record Room Collection Selections
Handfull from the Doghouse...... Eddie Bo - Fence Of Love - Seven B Great 60s Soul with an R&B edge. Sadly overlooked by people who dismiss his work as purely Funky. Being from New Orleans may well mean that titles like this will become harder and harder to locate. Paid a tenner for mine some years ago, but would expect to have to pay around the £50 mark now. Johnny Davis - You Gotta Crawl To Me - Bandit Haven't a clue where this release comes from , but it's a cracker. Cheap as well, as it's obtainable for around a tenner. Chino Feaster - Pretty Baby / The Girl I Love - Shipp Late 60s? double sider, one a gritty RnB/Soul thing, the other a breezy Crossover tune. Got one in my sales box at what I consider the right price of £25. The Five Du-Tones - Sweet Lips - Onederful Overlooked mid-sixties release, gritty but very dancefloor friendly... perhaps it's beacause you can buy one for under £20 that it's so neglected? Claude (Baby) Huey - Keep It To Myself - M.I.O.B. Seen people raving about his other releases, but this one never seems to get the credit it deserves..... late 60s hard Soul and then some... Paid £30 for mine a few years ago (Most I've ever paid for any of his 45s!) WOOF!
