Coasters - Down In Mexico - ATCO 6064 Ray Sharpe - Help Me (Get The Feeling) - ATCO 6402 Levon And The Hawks - He Don't Love You - ATCO 6383 High Keys - Que Sera Sera - ATCO 6268 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kd2j3-gqHds Some oddball stuff below that you'd be hard pressed to consider soul, but these are some really good 45s on ATCO in my opinion: Brian Auger - Black Cat - ATCO 6611 (not issued on 45 in the UK) Squires - Going All The Way - ATCO 6442 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GDxi6csi9g

lenny o'henry - across the street
  3. If you mean Tommy Good (of "Baby i Miss You" fame), then he was pretty late in the game as well. That 45 is from 1964.
  4. The Lewis Sisters 45s are from 1965.
  5. THE CONTORS... Absolutely useless bootleggers!

Just found a photo of the Mello Souls 45 on an italian web site: https://soulconnection.too.it/ https://digilander.li...kenny/kenny.htm
  8. Brilliant version in my opinion.
  9. Plus the re-issue has got "RABBIT FACTORY INC." on the right side of the label (instead of "KAT 276755B") so pretty easy to spot. ORIGINAL on the left side and RE-ISSUE on the right side below:
  10. Yes, the scan of the blue label 45 is the 70s bootleg which David Flynn mentioned above.
  11. And here it is (scan taken from Manship's guide):
  12. Only about 6-7 hours to go on these auctions now: https://shop.ebay.com/pushkings/m.html Thanks for looking!
  13. There's about ony day left on these auctions now: https://shop.ebay.com/pushkings/m.html

  15. Absolute MONSTER tune! Superb funk dancer on the flipside on this as well: https://www.parkersrc.com/images/WEBMP3/toddlintown144b.mp3
  16. That's a seriously good and rare 45. I've never seen another copy apart from the one I have (and included in the November 2007 mix that you mentioned).
  17. I think Marva Whitney's version is superb:
  18. The original release was on CHARLIE as Michael's Mystics. It was later picked up by METROMEDIA and issued as by The Mystics.
  19. Sorry, don't have a copy of either for sale, but the original version is by Nova's Nine, issued on ABC. The tune is written by Bob Mann who was a member of that group.
  20. The 4:51 long COLUMBIA release of Philly Devotions "I Just Can't Say Goodbye" was mixed by Tom Moulton and it is a better/punchier (and longer) mix than the issue on DON DE.
  21. Only 1-2 hours to go on these auctions now: https://shop.ebay.com/pushkings/m.html Thanks for looking!
  22. Don't know if it's the same guy, but there's a Tony Turner that is supposed to be David Ruffin's godson and apparently also workded as a Motown road manager. Interview with him: https://www.classicba...rInterview.html He's also written some books about The Temptations and The Supremes: https://www.amazon.co...t_athr_dp_pel_1
  23. That might explain why I've never been able to find that 45 (as by Angela Davis)!
  24. There's now about 3 days left on these auctions: https://shop.ebay.com/pushkings/m.html
