I sold a copy of Jewel about 2 years ago for about £200,I had so much interest on it,half of Scandanavia seemed to be after it,wish I'd auctioned it now! Ike Strong £300 ish? I remember both tracks getting played by Searling late days of Wigan.Personally I think Jewel has stood the test of time better, albeit a rip off of EWF. The Ike Strong sounds a bit 'discoey' to my ears thesedays, but come to think of it,it did 'back in the day' when it was covered as Lee Moore And The Resourceful Ones-'Your Love Keeps Me Dancing' Pete
  11. 'Introducing' on Geffen great album. 'Take me now' is one of my all time fave tunes, just wonderful
  12. Petebangor posted a post in a topic in All About the SOUL
It was played as a new release on the Northern scene
  13. Covered up as The Ambassadors by Gary late days of Wigan. Great tune
  14. That's the one Simon,I'd be interested to hear the remix if anyone can post it up.
  15. Searling used to play The Nuron's covered up,at Wigan,if I remember rightly as Lamar Thomas-These chains that bind me all of my life, which was version was that? Thanks Pete

  18. Covered up as Lee Moore and The Resourceful Ones by Richard Searling.Great record.
  19. So on that basis if you'd have followed Sam and he'd have dropped a couple of house tunes that filled the floor, then you'd have to play a couple of house tunes to fill the floor also
  20. I enjoyed it Barry, would be interested in hearing the others you've done. Pete

'It's All Up To You' one of my all time fave records.Wonderful piece of soul music. 'You Bring Out The Best In Me' 'Bring Back The Love Of yesterday' Acouple of cracking 70's midtempo's The Dells what an awesome band.
  22. 'Travellin' On' was a big tune in the Modern rooms about 3 years ago off the CD Peace Suite. Pete

Let's just say that you're willing to pay up to £100 for a record,if you put a bid in for £100 the bid will show £100,if you use a snipe programme and put in your maximum bid of £100,the snipe programme will bid on your behalf seconds before the auction is due to end.The snipe programme will bid the next increment from what the existing bid is.E.G if the bid is £15 it will bid £16 and you win a record that you were willing to pay £100 for,for £16. Hope that makes sense Pete
