This is the only post I can relate to on this thread as I feel exactly the same, I have no interest whatsoever in the current scene and certainly no passion for it anymore either as a DJ or punter, like you I still love the music but not that bothered in chasing it anymore, I can't remember the last time I played a record at home for enjoyment purposes tend to just play them to check condition before they are mailed out, been to less than half a dozen soul events in the past two years and do I miss it? not at all, got fed up with all the opinion and bullshit which took the fun out of it for me, respect to those who still enjoy it. TAC weekenders were for me no 1, met Mrs B, and marriied her had a greattime both DJing and on the Radio with Rog B, loved the weekenders iin Torquay. Howhowever the first cleethorpes weekenders were the dogs bollocks, we were the first to start the fancy dress and going into the pool after Sunday night (remember Tony Mac. Stuart and Jill, the lads from Mac and others)
