    The first night of hopefully many thanks to a friendship with the manager of this public house expect to hear all the classics the rare,the underplayed and the youth club sounds bringing back memories it free to get in, bar prices are cheap too, ,plenty of parking,outside seating in abundance if its toooo hot so come along and join in all detail's on the flyer 8 til 12 bar shuts a 1 am

    Just a note there is on road parking across the road from the venue the bar will be open downstairs and opened up Stairs later on the day if there are enough in to warrant the paying of extra bar staff hopefully you will enjoy the day ,bus stops right outside the venue ,WE ARE OPPOSITE QUEENS COURT DO NOT GO TO VICTORIA BUISNESS MANS CLUB

    After a turbulent year or 2 we go back to upstairs at the Vic in Old Colwyn after much debate over costs etc this will be our final resting place im not prepared to move again after 6 years of struggle etc we stay here or disappear,,,,So back to the format STEWART FAIRCLOUGH, DAVID FAIRCLOUGH, COLWYN ROBERTS & myself command the decks with out guest whom has been postponed 3 times joins us all the way from Liverpool via Prestatyn Miss LORNA BEATTIE who will play all your desires from her eclectic mix ,its Northern,Motown, rnb,a bit of 70s stuff all pushed on ovo vinyl and a raffle to be proud of ( donations gratefully received) and FREE ADMISSION ON THIS ONE 3PM TIL 8PM hope to see some of your smiling faces .....laters

    This unfortunately is where I met both Wayne and vance for the first time at the pack horse ,we have gone through some very varied changes since then ,a few have passed away ,a few have moved away ,a few can't be arsed anymore ,a lot have aged and put weight on lost hair, girl,boy,wife,husband,gone too, but the music and friendship has remained I thank with the bottom of my new liverpool top for the opportunity to of at have least been involved in part of this history we strive on ..please support a free day of unadulterated soul from all on Sunday......stevie x

    Well another hot day with some tunes abound at this johnnies first gig here and more to follow,excellent surroundings,reasonable priced refreshments lovely bar staff and greeted by to giggly girls whom took your entrance fee ,john kicked off with some sublime tunes right across the board stuff followed by the first amateur?? of the day EDDIE who also hit the spot with Sam Williams etc well done, Carole THEN FOLLOWED WHO DROPPPED SOME EXCELLENT TUNES FOR THE NEXT HOUR only to disappear to Macc to guest at another venue another worthy set, I DIDNT CATCH MUCH OF RON SET BUT WHAT I DID HEAR WAS EXCELLENT ,Marco followed with whom i travelled up here from deepest Manchester to support him and the others ,And as per norm his set was a mix of soul,northern and kicking in with big lee dowell set the ball rolling ,unfortunate for the last set we had to run for the train back all in all,a fantastic venue which should go from strength to strength a mere 4.00 to get in and if you have not got a residency anywhere get in touch with john to book your hours set and show you wares off ...a big pat on the back to all involved ...Steve
