Quieter than usual but still busy enough with visitors from Italy,Manchester,and local peeps too ,so onto this month's extravaganza with our guest whom we have the pleasure of allowing to utilise the stage ( no drum playing though) Prestwich and fish ain't biting regular plus somewhere else too Mr Bernard Heap whom has graced mine and other events previously so we know what we will get from him ,Andy rejoins the stage from his exploits in Devon grandchildren excluded ,Wayne mine host Butterworth and little ole me to help with the contribution of soul music on vinyl playing to and for your pleasure £4 door tax,7.30 start bus stop ride outside reasonable bar tariff huge wooden dance floor talc in moderation,large car park what more could you ask for .....

Well a busy one last month for our Anniversary big thanks to djs and punters alike for supporting us for the year here's to the nex one,this months guest runs a successful event in Heywood at the Reform Club which i had the privilege to be their guest for last week so i'm sure with when i saw ROY KITSON perform he will do the same for us here at the Home Guard,alas a member of our regular team will not be here as he is sunning himself up south of the border with lovely grandkids in tow best of Andy , so 4 and a half hours of soul we may have a surprise dj but reality is i'm sure WAYNE BUTTERWORTH AND MYSELF can cope,it's a 7.30 start midnight finish ,large car park bus route and stop right outside the venue ,massive wooden dance floor reasonable priced bar ,we allow talc in moderation to be used come on show your face if you have not been before a night of Northern,Motown and right across the board SOUL ....LATERS
