  1. Don't know anything about its creation but versions were cut on Motown, Tammi Terrell cut a great version and also cut by Marvin and Kim Weston.
  2. Don't know if this guy has any exposure on here but just stumbled on this on Spotify and it blew away.
  3. Supremes and the 4 Tops, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Ebony Alleyne, Queen Latifah.
  4. Sell em and enjoy the money, if you don't or hardly play them, keep hold of a few that hold memories but cash in on the rest, most tracks can be accessed on cd or other digital forms so not going to miss the sound just the physical owing of the records but as you said getting older and health , enjoy the money raised.
  5. Nothing to add other than it's an LP of the highest quality and one I still play regularly even though I bought on release, soul at it's best.
  6. Northern has embraced loads of different types of sounds under the umbrella but garage is just a racket to my ears and nothing to do with soul music of any type.
  7. They need to add a few crackles, pops and jumps to make them more authentic. A bowl of Rice Krispies added to the mix might be suffice x
  8. Scary thing is reading the comments, some people think this stuff is real.
  9. A great track from a great LP with no duds, still playing this LP after owning since buying it from Soul Bowl.
  10. Precisions - " If This Is Love " coupled with "You'll Soon Be Gone" Perfection both sides .
  11. They should have left " Festival Time" as an instrumental, the vocal hurts my ears.
  12. Everything is fine now Mike, thanks
  13. Similar problem on android tablet and phone but cannot access any forums either, only can access things on the opening page.
  14. Always picked up something of interest there nothing rare but the ones I do remember buying there were the lps " Wanted One Soul Singer" Johnnie Taylor " Boogaloo Down Broadway" Fantastic Johnny C " The Horse" Cliff Nobles and the lp that changed my direction in soul music " I'm A Loser " Doris Duke, never found many singles of note but managed a copy of " In Orbit" Joy Lovejoy. A few beers in Sheffield a wander round the clothes and record shops, a great day out. Sorry for going off topic.
  15. That brings back memories, I purchased that lp from Violet Mays in Sheffield longer than I care to remember, fortunately in better nick to this day than that copy.
