  1. The only original format for this is the one-off test press of the LP (album was never released). I used to play a dub taken from the master tape for a few years, doesn't count as original does it?
  2. JR came out on a sort of white label mock up white demo lookalike 45 a few years ago. Sorry, mixed this up with another pressing...
  3. Until late 2009 I thought I'd never own Eddie Parker on Awake and JD Bryant on Shrine. And guess what? I still don't own them
  4. Veda now sorted. Reachers anyone? Willing to pay 300 for a nice copy, cash is waiting!
  5. Nice one! Not really the next big monster sound, just a nice little record. Very Gene Chandler-ish IMHO. It's from Oct 1962 by the way...
  6. Bileo now off my wants list. Fed up with people asking inflated prices for it. But I added what I'm willing to pay for Veda and/or Reachers
  7. I know I paid a top price for it but I've been trying to find a copy for quite some time now so frustration finally won and I splashed out. It's a case of not-rare-but-hard-to-find IMO
  8. What a bargain! Paid 80 quid for a copy just two days ago
  9. Mark, ask Spaghetti Weston he used to play Andrea Henry
  10. Bump! Anyone?
  11. Yes, I have it
  12. Don't think so, scans are different...
  13. Puzzles me why nobody has mentioned their take on The O'Jays "I'll never forget you" so far ... quality album!
  14. seconded, 20/30 max. lovely record...
  15. I'm after the following tunes Veda - What it's all about - West Sounds Reachers - I just want to do my own thing - Magic Disc Bileo - You can win - MTU/Watts City Record must be VG+ or better. Reasonable prices paid. Cash waiting! Please PM, thanks!
  16. Nige, thanks for wetting my appetite (not) 100 too much for me. When I asked for current value a few weeks ago I was told anything between 25 and 75. Or do you want to do a trade?
  17. I'm after Veda - What it's all about - West Sounds (VG+ or better) Willing to pay a reasonable price depending on condition. Please PM me if you can help. Thanks!
  18. Wanted: Randy Brown - I'm always in the mood - Parachute 45 Willing to pay up to 50 quid (inc. post), depending on condition. Please PM me. Thanks Benji
  19. If you're not too bothered about the label as long as it's an original 60s item, try finding the EP on spanish HIT. Shouldn't cost more than a third of a Roulette copy and has Kenny Ballards I'm losing you as a bonus on the flip
  20. Yes, it is an edited 12" version on the Lou Curtan side
  21. Chalky, PM me your email address and I'll send you excellent quality scan of Limitations. It's in .tif format but Soul Source won't allow me to upload this format for whatever reason...
  22. It's a boot made for the US Beach Music scene,
  23. Actually, that's right in a sort of way. Minor clicks and to a degree background noises 'disappear' when played out loud. Has something to do with the speakers set up in the clubs. Basically, you're wrong. Unless the record features really heavy scratches or jumps, then you're right. That just about sums it up. Maybe worth adding that I'd never use a minter to dj with, it can only ruin or wear out the vinyl and after your set you end up with a (ex-) minter. When I was dj'ing regularly I bought loads of records with either worn/waterdamaged label and/or in VG-/VG condition only. They're much much cheaper and absolutely fine to play out loud.
  24. Final bump, auctions ending in a few hours...
