Ha ha, nice one. I was fearing that it might came out on 45 in Germany too. It would have been the worst addition to my german soul collection. Phew, "it should have been me" came out with a different flip over here.

What is the other side of the 45? I only have the LP and dug it out the other night to see what the fuss is about. I was truly shocked.

Chris, looks like you most releases. But there's at least one missing, it came out twice in Germany. First one is the one shown in your post (1x WD, 1x PS). Second one came out in the early/mid 70s, probably to tie in with a UK re-release (Mojo?). Funky art cover, had it once but sold it as it was a reissue. Never found another copy. Must have bombed.

I agree. I guess Tony Hestor is the one that prevents many collectors from having a full set of Detroit Giant releases. Wish I had the money.

Sorry, should have said "german scooter scene". But I know what you mean. "inspired dj" means f*ck all. "inspiring" is the key. Play a set of quality rarities/biggies/monsters/in demanders/what ever and drop a few truly forgotten quality cheapies. That's inspiring. Inspiring to the punters.

Funny that you say it's not overplayed. Mary Saxton was played literally to death on the scooter scene in the 90s. Off pressings though.

FFS, stop being so patronizing. Ever since we did the Top Tips for 20xx threads somebody said xx and xx are well known records, no top tips. There's no need for that. How about just reading what everybody else posts, if you know it already ignore it. If you don't have a listen and make a mental note if you like it.
