Over Rated Records
Are we talking about marmite records? Or love/hate records? To me, "over rated" means the track is ok, or even good but by far not as good as demand/price/popularity would suggest. Therefore my nominees are: Margaret Little Tommy & The Derbys Milton James

Couple Of Valuations Please From You Experts
Gregg Diamond isn't hard to find. May not turn up every day but surely not rare. pricewise: it used to be around 40 quid but I guess you won't get more than 10/15 for it nowadays. Brilliant track IMO, Luther Vandross on lead vocals if you didn't know that already.

The Precisions Lp Acetate
It's credited to her on the Sidra/Joe Boy 7". I first thought the version on the acetate is the one they initially credited to Barbara Mercer. But according to Google it's infact Pearl and not Babs.

The Precisions Lp Acetate
Robb, see my post above yours. If you're referring to "a dream" on both acetates, that song is not sung by Precisions but Pearl Jones.

The Precisions Lp Acetate
The dream version on the Ebay acetate is female and by Pearl Jones. So is #4 "give me another chance".

Lp Only Djs And Their Playlists
It's Police Chief Inspector Benji, Mr. Fox! Mr. Robertson, please accept my apology for misreading your post. I came to the wrong conclusion that your intention was to compile a list of LP-only tracks.

Lp Only Djs And Their Playlists
Sorry, not to my ears. Not that ever had the original 45, but the album sounds so good I can't imagine it's inferior to the 45 press.
-
Lp Only Djs And Their Playlists
When I dj'd regularly I always took a bunch of LPs with me. Either lp-only tracks, or album tracks that were much much cheaper than the 45 releases, e.g. Silhouettes on Goodway. If I find the time I'll knock a list together of what I played over the years.

Mr Lucky
Ted is right, you are in the EU. Therefore no import duty from any other EU country (since 1973 I think, so quite recently for some) I really can't believe that there are still folks in the UK who think they have to pay import duty when buying from another EU country

Lp Only Djs And Their Playlists
Matt, do you mean LP-only tracks playlists? Or simply LP playlists?
-
Lp Only Djs And Their Playlists
I know of an ex-DJ (who has left scene 15 years ago) cut down an LP to 7" format so it would fit in his record box. Song in questions was last one on side 1
