Well, I know of three persons in Berlin who own it...so it can`t be that rare really LOL ! Used to love it when I first heard it mid 80s...since then it has been so hammered and overplayed that I will mostly to be found outside having a smoke when this one gets on the decks

The first notification I think I did post a year ago or so already...anyway, having had to buy a new system last week I wondered how many new technix my hifi dealer just had got in...I asked him and he said he just ordered them and got the information now from his main supplier that panasonic indeed changed their mind and will continue production as they had received...1.5 millions ....thats 1.500.000...complains after the statement was out they will stop pruduction of the infmaous technix dj turntable. so for now nth to worry about...also, not being the biggest fan of chinese products...along others also mr crypt for example does supply nice counterfeits..which by the way only cost 25 % of a new technix but thats a different story. marc

play both, record them and compare them on the computer and you will see they are differnet, not only in speed. But hey, I did not find them, I am not playing either of them, so no need for me to defend it anyw ay. Its up for everyone to make up his own opinion.

I am not so sure on the "its a boot theory"....I know the guy (as do some others of course) who found the small lot maybe ten years ago. I have no reason to doubt him. he is a well known collector (was) and creditable seller (still is). Price wise around 50- 80 UKP at a guess (this only because of the boot theory and the sub-optimal sound quality I would think...other than that and it would be three figures given its rarity and the labels history). sorry to hear that Darren, think this is the same affair you told me about a few months back ? This guy also tried to steal off a mate of mine (via ebay). My mate threatened him very strict and direct which in the end resulted in this guy giving up and confessing having receieved his mint copy of teh Dynamics on Top Ten ...

Colin Dilnot did put me on this version.Didn`t knew it myself before. Still, I must admit Cindy & The Playmates THE version for me. Mark V as you say a brilliant tune and buy though...especially at only 15 UKP !
