  5. Yes myself and Andy Tats found this on a master tape at Dave Hamiltons RIP and i with Dave mixed up a raw (very raw) version so i could play it on return to the UK i used to think it was quite good up until a full and proper mix came out on ACE/KENT D Hamilton cds it sounds so good unlike my mix.Alot of people have made nice comments about what i used to play maybe its the shear rawness of the thing i dont know..Kitch can you dig it out i need to borrow it for Deans radio show shortly thanks

Here we go again, this is how i understand it,when i went to Duke Browners house on Broadway,Detroit he told me that it was the Volumes in between contracts that recorded Lady in Green Now the lead vocal on that tune was Gerald Mathis same guy as Same Old Feeling(compare the voices for yourselves)Gerald comfirmed this when i spoke with him many years ago. Before this recording 65 a single on Allright came out The Train the main man in this line-up was Tony Johnson (of Tony and Tyrone)Please Operator Atlantic and he comfirmed that as he was a friend of myself and Andy Taylors. The other groups of the same name were as already stated.Chicago and PhillyOh by the way that early Detroit group recorded but without release for Motown, they later changed the group name to i think The Downbeats .....help me out here you Motown men

Picking out a few lines from a couple of great songs The Four Gents Ive Been Trying when the guy sings the words "so sincerely i wanna love you". Try One Gold Piece when the guy sings the seconed verse "and if i had just one gold piece and happines happiness" it makes me shudder, ive a good mind to catch a plane track him down give him a kiss(maybe) and thank him.As for the Dynamics on Dyna the whole fuckin record is mental
