Hello mate, yes, but you are being more specific now than in your original question, you asked if people were still buying & yes I am, half a dozen things this week, but Im not generally going for the stuff everyone else is chasing, there are still cheap, good records out there & particularly if you are buying a few things from the same seller, as you save on postage......

Doesnt affect me in the slightest, if there is a record that I want & I can afford it, within reason I buy it.... Russ

Bargain, seen more copies of the Ross release recently than this & theyre double the price.....

If you are in to Northern/Rare Soul why wouldnt you go to All Nighters, no disrespect intended, cos there are a handful of cracking Soul Nights & All Dayers out there with superb music policies, but thats where you go on the way to the All Nighter isnt it....or to mong out on a Sunday at a Dayer afterwards ???.....Northern/Rare Soul = All Night, anything else just doesnt quite cut it for me really....us southern softies generally have to travel for anything half decent, not much point travelling 2, 3 or 4 hours to get to an event that finishes at midnight or 2am....the night is just begginning to get going by then.....

I had a dub of the Judy Freeman, but in a moment of weakness gave it away....wish I had kept it now :-(

I have voted Saturday, but to be fair, depending on the event i probably wouldnt care - use to do a Nighter Friday, Saturday & Sunday if it was a Bank Holiday, or a Dayer if it wasnt. I think its more about the event, than what night it is personally....I would prefer more Friday Nighters TBH, more choice & you get the weekend to either do more or recover.... Russ

I think it was 'known' for years, but wasnt played properly until the late 8ts (?)....even then, it was some years before it really got going.....'discovering' a record, what ever that really means, is totally different from having the jubulies to actually play it at a packed All Nighter, & persisiting with it, until it finally 'hits' (sometimes) they are two totally different beasts all together. BS thread on FB Rare Soul Sales, is about a copy of the Anderson Brothers, that came from Ray, & being sold by a third party on his behalf. The scan is of the Bootleg....now whilst I dont think either Ray or DK is setting out to rip anybody off deliberately, the scan is deffo of the boot....all should become clear later when DK will post an update.
