Cant fully understand this. Yes top notch tune in lovely condition, BUT how many on SS own it? Rare yes BUT how many are known to exist.Must be maybe 25/30 in the UK. What would be the press run at the time 300,500? I dont know but when compared to FW or some of the Shrine stuff being discussed on here is it truly rare? I dont know all the answers as I am posing them. Maybe there are only a handful but common sense dictates to me that there are more about?? Bit like all the Frankie Beverleys Because of my heart suddenly coming up for sale. Has a batch on Rouser been found? Like Ted I cant understand the early bidding either. Just played both TH and BK on youtube. Both are quicker than HM to my ear. I think BK was the version I was thinking about in my earlier post. Wonder who claims credit for playing BK first maybe that will answer it. Good fun!

No I reckon Bob Kuban was played around the time of Harold Melvin. It was also played at Peterborough and St Ives ( maybe). I went to all 3. I think TH was a bit later. What year was HM around 74 -75 I guess? Think TH was a bit later. Lovin on the losin side seemed to be big and reasonable. What year was that? Nope reasonably certain Bob Kuban was my man. I think Bob Kuban was a little faster than HM from my memory.

Morning all. Got one of those going on in my head. Was thiniking about Lenny Curtis and thinking how much like Sam Cooke he sounded! Anyhow after a bit of internet searching I could not find out much about the guy. He had something out with Damita Jo and apart from Nothing etc thats it! Anyone any info on the man anyone? Hi Guys nope it was Bob Kuban. Tended to treat Tommy Hunt as a joke when I went to WC. However saw him at a small place here in Stockport some years later and he was very good. He did a kind of request thing in the break and sung the requests on his own without the band. Thank You.
