I guessed there might be as it was one of the titles that were done on styrene after first appearing on vinyl (Salvadors, Anderson Bros, Mel Britt, George Blackwell, Dave Newman) but I've never seen or heard of one until you two have mentioned it and that's after 38 years since it was pressed. Though they were done by the same person who did the styrene ones so not sure why it would be of poor sound quality.

Easy to tell BIlly. Original is styrene. Reissue is vinyl.

Never seen a boot on vinyl

I sent a package to the States 6 weeks ago, Royal Mail track and trace says "has been delivered to Kennedy Airport and is awaiting delivery", the customer is doing his nut, and so am I, it's been in the States for a month and nobody knows where it is. And I'm going to have to refund the money despite both of us knowing it was sent (signed for!)

There's something else you've got to beware of. Some copies are labelled correctly but play the B side on both sides. I think these were actually done as bootlegs but they look ok. The original was sold for £3 in the soul shops after someone (Kev R?) found the entire dead stock. I never believed there was actually a bootleg of this apart from the mispressed one. (As an aside, I bought a job lot of pop records off ebay last year, they weren't up to much, but there was, to my amazement, a copy of The Admirations on Paree in there. The wrong press :-(

I'm not for or against, but I have one point to make. How many cover ups from the old days are still covered up? None? They all get discovered in the end so the lifespan of a cover up is usually months rather than years. I'm sure that cover ups that Butch plays will mainly be records that have no artist credit. Look how long it took to find out who Richard's "When he's not around" turned out to be - that was a blank disc and was only discovered by a fluke. So all I'm saying is, records that have been released and covered up will always have their identities revealed, blank label discs won't.

Pressed on a different label to the orig though!

£20 - £25 issue £50 - £75 demo quite a hard demo actually, issue is common only talking about CBS here by the way, not the reissues

There's no boot of the Epitome Of Sound on Sandbag issue. If the braille numbers aren't there, they just aren't there.
