It does sound like a one groove skip doesn't it. The record itself definitely doesn't jump so yes, bad master!
  2. Much appreciated mate, thanks.

It's a pressing fault only on the UK copies. Issue on my website, it is the only record on the entire page that wasn't my own copy: It's right down the bottom I think https://lostvinylgemsofthe60s.blogspot.co.uk/
  5. What is OVO? OVO is "Obviously" OVO Definition / OVO Means The definition of OVO is "Obviously" The Meaning of OVO OVO means "Obviously" So now you know - OVO means "Obviously" - don't thank us. YW! Web definitions OVO is the soundtrack to the Millennium Dome Show in London that was composed by Peter Gabriel. It was his eleventh album overall. It was released on 12 June 2000 and features guest vocals by Neneh Cherry, Rasco, Richie Havens, Elizabeth Fraser and Paul Buchanan. ...
  6. What does this mean exactly? I'm clueless about this sort of thing.

Sorry to disagree. Nothing stirs the loins more than a lovely red and white UK demo...even if it's by Ken Dodd
  8. I don't think it devalues it at all really, as long as you tell people that it's there beforehand

Had 3 x UK demo 3 x USA demo 1 x USA issue never had a sniff of a UK orange issue what a record
  10. No it's way longer than that
  11. They are quite rare on US pressings, common on UK, but there's a cracking one on the original of Vicki Nelson - Stoney Face - except I can't remember what it says.
  12. There's no boot of this, it wasn't played hardly in the 70's so that's why there's no release of it from then.
  13. You don't owe me an apology, it's just a discussion about records I think...much more important things to worry about after my record shed roof blew off last night (see batten down the hatches thread)
  14. ...with a hammer
  15. Post is over 2 years old Dave, got none of those anymore. I don't even remember them!
  16. Yeah that is a very early play for the Twans but are you sure about the Barbara Pennington ban, I have massive memories of it being played at the 3rd anniversary at least twice, Blanche Carter was played like 3 times, I still don't think there's enough atmosphere for it to be the actual anniversary if you compare it to the two tapes I've got but I do think it's before it
  17. Came out on UK Trojan too
  18. There's two boots of this, the one with Nabay on the back and a better looking counterfeit, but easy to spot as it's vinyl not styrene. (Why do idiots call Nabay "Narbay" and even bootleg it as "Narbay?)

Mel C was brilliant I thought
  21. Is that addressed to me specifically? I don't collect so it doesn't make any difference what I play something off. Could be a one sided teacake with vinyl properties for all I care. I have to sell all the originals to make a living. I'm just talking about serious collectors with that analogy about cars.
  22. That would be like swapping your Bentley for a Reliant Robin
  23. You do? Fascinating isn't it - I've got three I think, 2, 3 and 4. My original has every title I heard underlined and all sorts of writing inside (Jo 4 Pete is one LOL) but I managed to get a newish copy a couple of years back so I have two of those.
  24. Going by what's on it, you're right, it's either the 3rd anniversary or recorded a week or two before it. I'm hesitant to say it definitely is the anniversary because it would be noisier, clapping wise normally. Fantastic tape, thanks for sharing it.
  25. It is categorically, definitely, undeniably 1976.
